Stoke Get Set school shares secret to sporting success

16/02/2010

St Peters High School in Stoke-on-Trent had a special visit last week from the BBC Newsround team who were keen to know the secret of their sporting success.

The Get Set school is an exceptional example of sporting achievements with eighteen national champions, 51 nationally ranked sports stars, seven internationals and four ranked top five in the world.

The students apportion their success to their sports mentor Neil Gilson who, along with Olympic hopeful Leone Davis, visited the Olympic Park with representatives from the West Midlands last November.
